R. Benjamin Gaither, Senior Pastor
Dr. Benjamin Gaither serves as senior
pastor of Stronghold Christian Church
(SCC), a spiritual hospital located in
Lithonia, Georgia. In 1987, God began
to plant a vision in Dr. Benjamin that would impact our lost and dying generation with a practical and holistic message of restoration and healing through Jesus Christ. Pastor Ben is married to Dr. Sherry Gaither and together as a team they provide dynamic vision and leadership to the Stronghold Christian Church family, as they help establish God’s Kingdom on the
earth. |

Dr.
Benjamin's vision is to establish a spiritual center
in which restoration and healing can take place. SCC
is uniquely ordained to be a Spiritual Intensive Care
Unit, providing a loving and caring environment for
the entire community. Stronghold was founded on Nahum
1:7, “The Lord is good a stronghold in the day of
trouble and He knows them that trust in Him.” Through
Dr. Benjamin's strong leadership, Stronghold is committed to training, healing and building covenant relationships within the community and the Body of Christ.
Dr.
Benjamin's leadership and influence does not end with the SCC family but it extends to the Dekalb County community. He currently serves with Dekalb County law enforcement Homeland Security. As a leader in the Dekalb County community,
Dr. Benjamin currently serves as an advisor to the Dekalb County Drug Court and Women Against Domestic Violence.
Dr.
Benjamin is a highly sought after prophetic preacher and teacher whose ministry experience extends to the metropolitan Atlanta area, U.S. and Africa. Pastor Ben received his B. A. Degree in Criminal Justice and an additional B. A. Degree in Biblical Studies. With over twenty years of experience in law enforcement and ministry, his passion continues to bring encouragement to those who are wounded and in need of healing and restoration.

Sherry Gaither, Pastor Dr. Sherry Gaither co-labors in ministry with her husband, Senior Pastor Benjamin Gaither at Stronghold Christian Church, a spiritual hospital located in Lithonia, Georgia. Together as a team, they provide dynamic vision and leadership principles to help establish God’s Kingdom on the earth. Dr. Sherry Gaither referred to by many as “Dr. G” is a multi-gifted pastor, educator, motivational speaker and author. She is a woman of integrity who is motivated by a spirit of excellence. Her passion and love for people sparks a desire to see them saved, healed and delivered. Her ministry experience extends internationally as she travels extensively throughout the United States and Africa proclaiming the Word of God.

Since 1991, she has served on the staff of Beulah Heights University as a professor in leadership. Her prior experience in marketing and management have enabled her to effectively inspire and empower leaders in the marketplace.
As founder of
Empowerment Network International
(ENI, Inc.), “Dr. G has influenced the church and the corporate world with biblical leadership principals, specializing in motivating individuals through workshops, coaching, and mentoring. Her weekly television broadcast provides practical and solid strategies that have literally helped thousands transform their lives. Her recent publication, “Promoting Leaders – Who Know How To Serve” was birthed out of a desire to challenge the methods by which potential leaders are identified and reward them based upon their ability to serve.
In 2009, Dr. G founded The Lady & Her Legacy, a nonprofit network, which partners with women from all walks of life and inspires them to reach their full potential with the aspiration of becoming a “living legend” in their homes, communities, and the
marketplace.
Her academic pursuits include a B.A. Degree in Communication, a M.A. Degree in Christian Education, and a Doctor of Ministry Degree. She is also a certified transformational life and leadership coach. Dr. G has received numerous nominations and awards. Her most recent honor includes the Women’s Leadership and Empowerment Award in recognition of her global leadership and empowerment of women.
