Who is MOS

SCC Men of Standard (MOS) Ministry is a Christian brotherhood which seeks to create an environment of Unity, Discipleship and Service among men through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. The MOS Ministry is THE place where the men of Stronghold begin and are accountable to one another for their growth in Jesus Christ. Our core scripture comes from I Corinthians 1:10 which reads:

"Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment."

Our foundational principles are that we:

• ENCOURAGE Unity among Men through various forms of fellowship, mentoring and support.
  
  

• EMPOWER Men to become Disciples and minister to the needs of other men through prayer, accountability and counseling.
  
  

• EDUCATE & EQUIP Men in the knowledge of Jesus Christ in their Homes, Churches and Community.

Community of One Flag Football Tournament, IRONMAN Men’s Conference, and 2010 Men’s Retreat.

Regular Activities

Men's Bible Study
Men's Bible Study is for men 18 and up and our curriculum ranges from tithing and discipleship to parenting and accountability. It is held every Monday and on the 2nd and 4th Monday we have what is called “Double-Stuff” where you “stuffed’ with both the Word of God and after class, the brothers eat and fellowship with one another.

MOS Men’s Choir
The SCC Men Choir ministers on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Rehearsal is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays (7:00pm) of that week. Contact Elder Shonda Holmes for more information.
